Beautiful location!
It's a very isolated place, which was what we were looking for. Would recommend a car with a high clearance and four wheel drive for peace of mind! But the location itself is unbeatable. The nearby restaurant is also quite good.

Garafia is Amazing!
Garafia is an amazing property! My wife and I traveled to La Palma to visit our son who works at the MAGIC Telescope on the top of the volcano. We were looking for a place close by and found this amazing location. While traveling the world over the past 30+ years, we have stayed in many B&B's and this was by far the most incredible. We were there as the Covid-19 crisis unfolded around the world and we could not have been in a better/safer place. The beauty of the mountain top along with the vineyard setting, made for a "dream come true" experience. Many congratulations to Tobias and our local contact, Christian, for the kind hospitality. If not that we needed to return to the United States, we would have loved to stay much longer. This is a place I wish to return and bring my entire family, including grandchildren! I give it the highest ranking possible!

Superb property
We had a wonderful stay, beautiful property with outside shower and sauna. Very quiet, a perfect getaway. Lovely complimentary bottle of wine, homemade almond butter, very yummy. Sunset and Star gazing from the hot tub (extra cost and needs booking) was spectacular. Just a note it’s only one big bedroom not two, other beds are in lounge/kitchen area, great for star gazing though. Really kind and helpful staff. Property is very remote, best to get sat nav coordinates to find it! Would highly recommend for a get away from it all holiday.

Exceptional surroundings enjoyed from a very well appointed accommodation.
The holiday stay at El Sitio, La Hacienda, was superb in every way. It is situated within a forested environment at an elevation of about 1300 meters. We cherished each sunset from a remarkable vantage-the accommodation is located above the cloud level. Hiking opportunities were abundant and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful giving us up-to date information about them. Traveling to La Palma observatory was a special treat. The drive took about an hour on a modern two lane road that is notable for its many sharp curves. The accommodation itself is one to which we hope to return soon. It is modern, well appointed and spacious. It also has an outdoor shower and sauna. The complimentary bottle of wine produced at the owner's vineyard was a special treat. The accommodation and environs were simply excellent value and most definitely worth the 2.5 hour drive from the Santa Cruz de La Palma airport. As a bonus, stargazing is unparalleled.

Ein wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen!
Wir haben eine schöne Woche in diesem Haus verbracht! Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, die Einrichtung geschmackvoll und stimmig. Besonders Sauna und Außendusche haben uns gefallen. Die Ruhe an diesem Ort ist einzigartig und der Blick in den Sternenhimmel ist mit Worten schwer zu beschreiben. Gerne wieder!
