"Lovely room with a small fan provided in the hotter weather days. Comfortable room but was expecting a double bed instead of two twin beds pushed together. Great service throughout our stay."

"Booked as a stopover heading to Ipswich for the Ed Sheeran concerts. So pleased I booked this hotel. The staff were friendly. The room was excellent. The breakfast was extremely good & they also offered bags to take it away. Would definitely go back here again "

"This hotel has all the character and history of a large old traditional hotel, but with a programme of constant upgrades. So the ensuite bathroom was magnificent. The bar, lounge, library and dining room had great luxurious character and we loved the outside palm tree area for drinking and relaxing "

"Have seen this hotel come up a few times and thought i would try it when i was working in the area. Being a golf club it has lots of extras, gym, spa, pool etc. The gym was well equipped with the latest tech, the pool area was lovely with a jacuzzi ,steam and sauna room. Clean changing rooms with ample lockers. The room was spacious with one of the largest beds ive seen, decent amenities, tea,coffee n biscuits. Great bathroom and shower. The restaurant was nice, the food was decent with plenty of options and great prices. A great place to stay and i will return. "

"Reception staff very helpful but nobody on reception when I was checking out. Some breakdast items cold but chef helpful cooking poached eggs . Carpets did not feel clean in bare feet otherwise room was clean "
