"The Waterfront House was an absolutely gorgeous property with a lake view and magnificent gardens. Our room was nicely furnished and very clean. Our host was welcoming and very gracious. The continental breakfast was average with croissants, toast and brown bread, butter and jam. The boats pictured on the website are not available for guests to use. That was a bit of a disappointment. I would stay here again."

We learned the King’s room we booked and paid for had been given to someone else and she blamed the booking calendar after confusion at being given a key to the wrong “other” room and sitting in the hallway with our luggage trying to contact her made me downright angry. "The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!"

"Àine and her family were amazing and so welcoming! She was quick to help us out with tips about the town, and where to get some much needed take-away after a long day of travel. The room was cozy and private, and the bath was restful. She also made us a delicious packed breakfast that we took with us and ate as a picnic on the cliffs of Moher. Lovely stay, will definitely be back!"
