"I was going to the Steelers game in Dublin and chose to stay outside the city for a bit of quiet in the evenings. Great choice! Easy trip in (from the train stop a few blocks away). I especially enjoyed the bars and restaurants in the hotel. It's a lovely place!"
"Breakfast was great. The rooms were nice with heated towels & floor. Nice ocean view. The owners just need to add the dining hours to the website for people getting in late or leaving early. "
"The house was super clean and cozy — I was so grateful to have a comfy bed to sleep in. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how easy the check-in process was, even with my late arrival. Everyone I met, from the staff to the other guests, was so sweet and welcoming. The staff were great about communicating and made my late check-in completely stress-free.
The bathroom was honestly amazing — yes, it’s shared, but only with one other room, and the shower was huge. Everything was spotless, and there were plenty of towels provided.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, even though it was short. I’d 100% recommend it and would definitely stay again!"
"The Hotel is in a great location for those exploring the many surrounding golf courses, Croke Park or just visiting the city centre. It's only 20 mins from the centre of Dublin with public transport (bus or train) right at your doorstep, as well as a supermarket, cafe precinct across the road for all your needs. It is a beach front property with magnificent views of the bay and a beautiful front garden to take advantage of the views.
Facilities in the hotel were clean, very comfortable and spacious. A historic hotel restored to its former glory.
The Hotel Manager, reception and cleaning staff were always responsive and went above and beyond to look after their guests. If you don't want to be in the hustle of Dublin city centre yet would like easy accessibility when required, this is the place is to stay. I highly recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future."
"What a wonderful stay at King Sitric. The room is comfortable, the bathroom and shower are large and well stocked with amenities. The hot, custom order breakfast was incredible. The seaside location was lovely for a first night in Ireland. Walking distance to the train station."
"Wished I would have had time to golf! Beautiful views and rooms were fantastic! Restaurants were off the hook and breakfast each morning had a ton of options"
