The rooms were very nice, recently updated and very clean. The staff are very helpful. In order to minimize the noise, you should ask for an oceanfront room. Anything near route one is noisy, and there is nothing you can do about accepted distance yourself from there.

Photos of the room we booked which was garden view were not really garden view more like parking lot view, however, we were "upgraded" to a villa anyways. The "villa" was at the back of the property which was right up against the main road. Incredibly noisy all day and night. Absolutely horrible place for a room and right next to the garbage and housekeeping area. No bar service at all just a guy selling a few types of beers. They have no liquor license. Not a vacation spot in the keys. Will not be back.

Very clean and updated property...convenient to get to any of the othet keys...love Wahoos next door to eat ..staff was very nice..its right on the ocean. Really great gem that was peaceful and i slept like a baby in their comfortably beds. I will definitely return.

The room was nice but definitely not worth the 500 and some dollars per night. I was woken up early by that God awful beeping sound that moving machinery makes. To make it even worse, it went on all day for each of the 2 days we were there. Apparently maintenance was being done on the soffits. The room air conditioner sounded like a train. The beds squeaked every time you moved. I also woke up both mornings with bites all over my legs. Bedbugs? I’m not sure but I did inform management to check out the room. I don’t believe I would stay there again after this experience. It frankly was hugely over priced for what you got.

The hotel is super convenient location and right on the beach. We were disappointed that We had to wait until 4 pm to get into our room. We called for early check in but they kept saying call back. We never got early check in. When my daughter was playing in the pool she scraped her knee on the broken tiles!!! How can you have a “resort” and charge $350 a night and have broken tiles in the pool in multiple areas. The pool floor is slippery as well! The pool was HOTTTTT. It was not refreshing… my 4 year old daughter that gor her knee cut by the tile in the pool kept saying the pool felt like a huge warm bath! My son slipped on the outside flooring because it’s slick! Very disappointed in the pool miantenance.

This is my first time on the property since the remodel. It was a great stay and very clean. Love what they did with the place. The staff was great, super attentive, and super nice. The price for the hotel was great for what you get. And better than other hotels in the area which do not look as good as this. The only item I would like to see improved is the boat dock area. They should put some funds into this area so people can park their boats temporarily. I have booked my Memorial trip already and will be back. :)

We only stayed for one night while traveling on our way to Key West. The property was absolutely beautiful. We utilized the pool and the hot tub, and also the game area out by the beach. The room was spotless, and the beds were very comfy. The bathroom was large and included all necessary toiletries. I wish we were staying longer than one night!

Our ocean front room was awesome! The views were spectacular. The entire staff was so polite and helpful. If I had to say one negative comment the breakfast was very week. The gentleman who ran the breakfast more than made up for it with his personal charm. I HIGHLY recommend this facility.

The air conditioner barely worked in the room, there was constant construction going on the entire time. The outside area surrounding the property is beautiful and the staff was very nice during check in, however, the place is over priced for the multiple issues we encountered during our stay.

Outstanding stay! Beautiful, well maintained beach, with 2 pools right on the waterfront. Spacious and clean rooms. Perfect for a family vacation! There are several good restaurants in walking distance too. Highly recommend!

The property was clean and the room was clean. We were provided new towels everyday which was nice. The beach area was cute and clean, and the staff at the breakfast area were super friendly. When I first went to check in, my room was not ready. The lady at the front desk asked for my phone number and said she would call me when my room was ready, she never called. I forgot my sunglasses on the counter when I went to try and check in. Before I left, I asked if there were any good places to eat near the resort, and she said, “how would I know? I can’t afford to eat here.” When I went back in, I asked the front desk lady if she saw my sunglasses and she said “no.” When I said that I knew I left them right here she said “oh yeah I did see them there.” I asked where they were then and she couldn’t tell me. She said maybe the guest checking in picked them up. I asked her if she could maybe ask the guests who just checked in if they accidentally grabbed my glasses and she said just shrugged. I got the impression that she took my glasses.

Resort provides decent value for cost. The free breakfast provides a decent start to each day, along with an omelette station on the weekends. Staff is very friendly and provides anything you need upon request. Stayed in villa with sofa pull out; mattress is not the greatest (would make sure to get two queen beds next time). Resort offers a laid back atmosphere with picture perfect views and two pools, hot tub, and pool bar area. The place is short staffed, but those working provide as much as possible. The beach is nice along with kayak and paddle boarding which are great activities included. Place is right within walking distance of Sand Bar and Wahoo Bar and Grill. Overall, this is a great place to stay in the Keys would def come back and recommend to anyone interested. There are other more expensive options, but Chesapeake Beach provides great value.

Chesapeake beach resorts was amazing. The room we booked had plumbing issues and they were helpful right away. When the issue could not be fixed we ended up changing rooms. We booked two queen ocean view, but ended up with a villa that was amazing. The staff was amazing and helpful. Highly recommend. 10/10 would stay again.

Staff was amazing , I felt like we were greeted by any staff that walked by, a small resort but very pleasant, best part was the view, large open view and beach which was nice because not many beaches . Paddle boards , kayaks boats and bikes to use and far enough down the keys to avoid traffic. Publix was a bike ride , couple blocks away. No restaurant on site but so close to many didn’t mater . Breakfast was just enough, avacodo toast, bagels etc. continental style but perfect. Would definitely come back,
