"I recently stayed at The River Lee in Cork while travelling for work, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which made my stay really enjoyable. A special mention to the gentleman from the restaurant (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name!) - your service was excellent. You were attentive, professional, and made the dining experience feel personal and welcoming. It’s rare to receive that level of genuine hospitality, and it really stood out. The reception team were equally fantastic. I arrived early, around 9 a.m., after travelling for work, and one of the receptionists went above and beyond to get me into my room as soon as possible. While waiting, she kindly suggested using The Hub in the hotel so I could work comfortably until the room was ready - such a thoughtful touch that made a big difference to my day. Overall, this hotel offers a great mix of comfort, professionalism, and warmth. The service from both reception and restaurant staff was outstanding, and I’ll definitely stay again when I’m next in Cork."

"This is a great location to be in for a short trip to Cork. It was convenient to town and we walked the whole city. It was clean, safe, and had everything we needed. Would stay here again."

"The only complaint I would have is the parking situation! We were told the hotel had an agreement with a parking garage nearby that gave a discount on guest parking. The garage was an 8 minute walk away, which isn’t too bad, but inconvenient if you forgot something in your car. The morning my family and I left for the airport at 4am, the garage was coned off everywhere with no one working. To avoid being late for our flight, my husband moved all of the cones but then the arm wouldn’t lift to let us out. I eventually called the number for the garage I found on Google and a very nice lady helped us out. I would still very much stay here again, as the parking did not turn me away. Everything else was perfect! The place was beautiful, spotless, amazing staff and great bar! Very close to shopping and dining! "
