"Nice place"

"Not the cheapest place to stay but it’s a beautiful hotel, with a great history restored (and improved upon) its former glory. Service is great, rooms are spacious and location is excellent. What’s not to like. Rather strange that a member of staff challenged a friend of mine who knocked on my door in quite an officious manner, but you can’t get everything right. "

"A very easy check in. Staff were very helpful. The room was clean and felt fancy for the space. We were staying in the hotel for an occasion and they went the extra mile to make it super special which we really appreciated. It was a shame the family room was two doubles (my children really don't like to share a bed so as adults we had to sleep separately to divide them up) but that's my only constructive feedback. We had the breakfast option, which had lots of selection. On the check out they let the kids keep the keys as a souvenir which they are thrilled with. Thank you for a lovely stay and some lovely birthday memories."

"Overnight stay in basement family room after a west end show. Room was clean and tidy. Shower was small but functional, with good water temperature and flow. The location was quiet, and the beds comfortable, so had a good nights sleep. Staff were very helpful."
