"I chose The New Yorker Hotel not for convenience, but out of respect—for history, for place, for legacy. Location matters, but legacy matters more. This building has both. No excess. Purpose achieved. We visited Nikola Tesla’s former rooms, marked by plaques noting he spent the final ten years of his life here. Standing there, you feel the weight of ideas conceived far ahead of their time—created in solitude above a city charged with ambition. The hotel functions like a well-designed system: Tick Tock Diner—open 24 hours, constant and reliable. Butcher & Banker—a restrained, precise steakhouse below. Trattoria off the lobby—a space for pause and conversation. Nearly a century old, the hotel remains clean, well staffed, and thoughtfully maintained. It doesn’t disguise its age; it honors it. No waste. No noise. Just structure and continuity. This isn’t merely a place to sleep. It’s a place where ideas once lived—and still hum beneath the surface. Like alternating current, its brilliance lies not in volume, but in permanence. For those drawn to history, architecture, efficiency, and quiet greatness, The New Yorker Hotel remains exactly what it was meant to be."

"Solo traveler and the small room was perfect, no more space needed. Being there for theatre, the Paramount is perfect…smack dab in the middle of Times Square and the theatre district!!"

"I liked this hotel more than many I have stayed in NYC. The room is compact like many others in NYC metro, but the space was designed exceptionally well for functionality. I appreciated all the available storage around the sink for my makeup and toiletries. There’s also an actual closet space here, and not just hooks (although the rack is hung high for people who are not tall). Great water pressure in the shower in the shower, too. Location was really great; close to subway stops and a lot of food options. I’d definitely stay here again! "

Hoze was the best..kind helpfull carring with good tips and instruction that helped us making our trip perfect with recomended places, transportation ,and good places to eat! Hoze should get trophy from sheraton because he represented them perfectly The only thing that was wrong were the elevators so slow and always full"
