"This is a beautiful hotel, conveniently located near the Shannon airport. It is very large and a little bit confusing to find your room. The rooms were extremely comfortable, clean and charming. "

"Not a 5* by any stretch. Room very dated , what looked to be semen / soiled stains on the chair by the bed. Paid for an upgrade to a balcony suite so would be surprised to see what you get when you pay for less. Advertised as a river view , but note you must hang over the railings to see it. Extra €50 odd for breakfast. Personally would resonate it with a 2/3* at most."

"Abruptly told at 3.10 thst I could not check on till 4pm. Usually that is not a problem. Receptionist not particularly friendly"

"Room was clean, location is great. you have to take a couple of stairs to your room, be mindful if you have a lot of luggage, elevator doesn’t stop on the floor itself. Unfortunately the room heater doesn’t work but they are quick to provide a portable one. Parking is a bit far behind the property."

"Staff was attentive and very professional. Also very nice. Room was clean and updated. Breakfast had variety and was good. Location was central and easy to walk to medieval area. Highly recommend staying here!"
