"This was our second time at Hotel Forza Kawaramachi. We are happy we came back! It's well taken care of, luxury-feel, great staff, and a lovely stay. The room layout (double room) is small but the space is designed to accommodate. Love the hair products and soap offered, its good quality and smells great. The breakfast buffet has a variety of western and Japanese options. Free sake, coffee machine, and laundry facilities are great additions. The lobby space is a clean, calm space to sit in and relax. Overall, a great hotel! Would return next time and recommend to everyone coming to Kyoto."

"The Ace Hotel Kyoto is a beautiful property that has an energetic vibe and several interesting dining and shopping options. Its location near the subway is perfect for exploring Kyoto and is walking distance to the Sanjo shopping arcade and Nishiki Market. The rooms are clean, comfortable and stylish. Would definitely recommend it to anyone."

"The room was spacious and clean upon arrival. The staff was very kind. Only downside is that there was not a laundry machine onsite, but that should not take away anyones decision as there is a uniqlo near by to buy new clothes. We definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel and cannot wait to comeback again. "

"Very spacious room, bed soft but still very comfortable. Quiet air conditioning. Did not try their breakfast. Loved the free coffee, snacks, juices, popsicles. Convenient area , supermarket next door, family mart across the street. We liked the pyjamas so much that we bought a set. Highly recommended place to stay. "

"We stayed for 5 nights after a trans pacific flight. Location was amazing - 15 minutes walking to 3 stops. The tea service in the afternoon was lovely. Wish we had done the Japanese breakfast option more. Beds we're comfortable and staff was friendly. Great bathroom amenities and black out blinds. Shower was fine. I would stay here again - easy transport everywhere."
