"The street looks a little scary when arriving at night but is probably safe due to enough people being out and about. The noise was somewhat abated by the shutters. Most of the staff was friendly and very helpful. The overnight desk clerk was not so nice. We had a half bottle of wine left from our dinner down the street and he would not even let us use wine glasses. "

"I stayed with my grown up son. We shared a twin room which was very spacious. The room and the en-suite were cleaned every day. The breakfast each day was plentiful, tasty and high quality. "10min walk to the nearest train station to get to other areas of italy such as florence and cinque terre. 15min walk to the tower of Pisa. Clean chalet, friendly & helpful staff, shop/cafe/restaurant on site. Kitchen area equipped with basics for cooking, there is no kettle,toaster, oven or microwave - just a 4 ringed gas hob which i feel could be improved more. Lots of mosquitos so ensure you pack repellant. Towels to hire. Good quality supermarket 10min walk away. I would definitely stay here...

"We had a cancelled flight and needed to find accommodation in Pisa quickly. We were glad we chose Hotel Maria at the last minute. Friendly and efficient check in and we were given a bigger room than booked, which was appreciated. Although a small space, it was extremely clean and the bed was super comfortable. Literally a 2 minute walk to the train station and the Pisamover for our trip back to the airport so very convenient. Thank you for having us :)"
