What should be considered is that there are a lot of small animals around which is normal like centipede and ants but we could easily handle them just to keep in mind. "Incredibly well maintained property and the location is a beau.. sitting on the mountain top with a gorgeous view of the ocean from the backyard.Car is a must as there is nothing in the walking distance. There are some local choices for food and groceries but we would strongly recommend to dine at the Calheta beach area which has a great collection of places to eat. And it was a breeze to check in and check out, thanks to the friendly and warm staff. We would definitely go back to this place in...

"Very disappointing, WiFi didn’t work for the whole time, tried to shower and the valve was broken so only came out boiling hot or cold at a trickle, they mended that, both shower drainage was blocked and when they unblocked, it stank the house out!! It was just as well we had other places to go! Couldn’t get the gas hob to stay alive but may have been doing something wrong, Other than that it was ok."
