"This was my third stay at Cesar Lanzarote in three years, and this stay, likes the others, did not disappoint. The hotel is in such a lovely quite setting, and all of the guests have plenty of space to do what they would like to do, despite the hotel itself not having that may rooms. All of the staff are charming, and it is so nice that some of them remembered me from last year, including the general manager, who was so warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back."

"We had a short stay here and it was pleasant. We had a bungalow which was quite large. It was clean, linen was clean but the pillows were awful. There was also no aircon in the bedrooms. The bungalow was dated, ripped sofa and old kitchen. The gym isn’t really a gym, a couple of very old machines and a few light weights. The pool areas and communal areas were clean and tidy, breakfast was great. Not a bad location as you can walk to the beach and local restaurants in 5 mins."

"Room was clean and functional, but a few things could be improved. No full-length mirror in the room, and housekeeping doesn't change towels daily (every 2 days) or bed sheets weekly, which felt a bit stingy. Wifi signal was weak throughout the stay it needs to be improved. The pool area was very quiet with no music for atmosphere, and I was surprised to be charged for a towel (20€ deposit and 2€ per day) that's normally complimentary elsewhere. Floats should be allowed in the pool. There was no lifeguard on duty, and the overall feel was more like an old community setup than a hotel resort. Wouldn’t recommend for young people. To note: to get to the old town you have to climb two steep hills. Not many bins around the property. Staff were friendly throughout. A later checkout time would help guests with late flights — the public shower was okay for freshening up. A designated luggage storage room would make this much easier. Cafe food was nice and they have a variety on the menu for food and drinks. The pool was great only thing to mention it’s not heated. Overall lovely stay, clean and functional just a few improvements."

"Excellent Stay at Hotel Costa Calero We recently enjoyed a very good stay at Hotel Costa Calero in Puerto Calero. The hotel was exceptionally clean, bright and well maintained throughout. Our room was bright, comfortable and absolutely spotless, which made for a very relaxing stay. One of the things we particularly enjoyed was that the restaurants never felt overcrowded or chaotic. There was an excellent choice of food, and everything we tried was fresh, well presented and of a very good standard. Overall, we had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay. The cleanliness, quality of the food and pleasant atmosphere made Hotel Costa Calero a great choice, and we would happily return."

"I have visited Lanzarote loads and have always stayed in Puerto del carmen. However, after my visit to these apartments I will definitely be back. I booked last minute and I have honestly never stayed in such an amazing place for the price. If your looking for a chilled out time the I recommend you stay here. My only negative if there has to be one is that there is. Omar conditioning but this would not stop me going back"

"The property was beautiful. It was easy to maneuver if you need some assistance. They did a great job making it feel that it was in a place on its own, even thought it was walking distance to everything. The breakfast was amazing, with the buffet being well spread out and/ or you can order off the à la cart menu… or both. The resturant(s) at the hotel had a great selection and we enjoyed the meals that we had. I would recommend the reservation at the time of check in for the tasting menu. We had not and missed the experience. Note: the water you need to pay for, a suggestion is to go down to the supermarket and pick up some bottles, much less expensive. You can also pick up some drinks and put them in the fridge that is available in your room, One of the downfalls is the pool. It was only about 3 to 4 feet deep and you cannot swim a length as it was small and during our stay it was extremely hot and would enjoyed to be in the pool a little longer, however the pool was quite busy and hard to maneuver around the people. Overall great stay."

"Wow to everything. Tranquil without feeling isolated, the view is food for your soul; and the food itself is also good for your soul because the staff are so welcoming and considerate at breakfast. Fresh squeezed orange juice every morning, and then the difficult decision to either lay by the pool or walk a leisurely minute to the cool ocean inlet below. Amazing people and amazing place."
