"They have the friendliest staff! We stayed with an 8-person family (kids 2-16) and got two rooms in the off season during renovations and STILL loved it. We only slept a night there, the rooms were spacious and the beds were good for us. We ate breakfast in the morning and it was delicious! Already planning to come back in the future."

"I wish we spent more time at this hotel, I will definitely be back. It is so close to Shannon airport it’s a great place to start or end your trip. The breakfast was amazing and so was the coffee. "We were looking for bases to explore the various areas of Ireland and chose this one for the Limerick portion of our trip. It's in a lovely rural location and, unlike many Irish dwellings, is very energy efficient and comfortable. Just a great place to stay if you want a quiet place surrounded by lovely countryside. One caveat: If you're from out of the country and have spotty cell service, make sure you save your Google map trips so you can find this place in the dark! We both lost service at...

"Our fourth visit to hotel. Easy parking, swift check in. Nice airy room with good bathroom and shower. Big comfortable bed. My wife enjoyed an excellent swim. Superb meal in the Maigue Restaurant. Experienced staff helped new, young inexperienced staff to ensure a first rate service and meal. Bar service ok, looked like some were inexperienced but no issues really. Easy check out. Will return."
