Strand Palace Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"A fabulous hotel in a great location. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating- nothing was too much trouble! Upon arrival I was allowed to check in early and choose which floor I would like to be on, enabling me to choose a quieter floor. The room was spacious for a single room and had a huge bathroom both of which were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The coffee machine was an extra treat! The bed was very comfortable and had a cushioned topper. The gin bar was lovely and served delicious cocktails as well as lighter bites and teas and coffees for breakfast and lunch. As for location, it was great for visiting the theatre, only meters away from Covent Garden, and a short tube or bus ride to many other attractions. I’m already looking forward to my next visit - thank you!"

"I came for a one night break away from caring for an elderly family member. This was a much needed break. The welcome upon arrival was great and my daughter and I had the best sleep we’ve had in a long time. The room had a cot ready for us and had everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay here and would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting London. Thank you for the superb welcome and facilities, especially the colouring in pencils."

Sanderson London, a Morgans Originals hotel

8/10 Good
"Overall we had a good stay but we originally checked in having booked a big loft room which I found dark so after we were changed to two standard rooms with queen beds which were smaller but had more natural daylight. The rooms we had were comfortable with unlimited water plus tea and coffee making facilities. However one blind was not working in one room and the tick off list for the laundry was not there either. Both issues were dealt with quickly though. The air conditioning in the bedroom and in the lobby is good. The staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay."
