I actually give this Hacienda a 5 star rating. Luckily we went prepared for everything: had clothes for warm/cold weather, items to keep us entertained since no wi-fi in rooms and most important hiking shoes. This is the biggest and best hacienda I have visited - ever! Amazing and adventurous roaming is a must.

Beautiful place. Not so nice facilities
The views and architecture are amazing. But the facilities are poor. There is no AC, no cell reception. Our room was not very clean (we found a dirty facemask on our bed). The bathroom did not flush properly. However the staff was very friendly and they offered a very cool tour of the place.

Todo está increíble excepto el baño, que no tenía agua caliente, al menos no lo suficientemente caliente para mí gusto y tenía una ventana que no se podía cerrar y hacia que el baño fuera muy frío por la mañana

Reyna was exceptional she is very professional and helpful, unfortunately I had to make a complaint about the grounds keeping guys were very disrespectful to my female guests, the Hacienda should hire people like that! I made a complaint to the receptionist but they didn’t do nothing about it

My group consisted of three adults and three children. We were very happy with our choice of hotel. It was beautiful, clean, with friendly staff. Having no TV or internet in the rooms was a plus. Nearby were plenty of things to see and do. I recommend it.

Beautiful Ex- Hacienda
Beautiful Ex- Hacienda located in a very quite area near Huasca de Ocampo downtown (approx. 7kms). Facilities are amazing as it revives the hacienda with a medieval touch from XVIII century. Truly recommend to spend a couple of days for relaxing an enjoy this beautiful property.

Great hotel located in an ex hacienda, great amenities and historical building. The road to the hotel is a little bumpy but worth the trip.

Nice stay and beautiful buildings and scenarios
It is a nice place, the old authentic mining hacienda, the scenarios, and the rooom we had is practically new or recently renovated, with friendly service. Our problem was that the signal for the cell phone is very weak, and also the free wifi is very weak. The visit to the silver refining buildings is free with a guide, and it is a very interesting place in the history of Mexico and the relations with Spain.

This was such a disappointment. Let me start with the positives: the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable and warm. That's it. The furniture in the room had large stains, there was no television and no internet connection. And the worst: there was a terrible, fetid smell from the bathroom which carried over into the sleeping area. A very unpleasant night.

On arrival early evening in heavy fog through an unmade dark road, we found there was no record of our reservation. After 20 minute's frentic phone calls, they put us in an unnumbered, unfinished and freezing cold room with no curtains. A bed had to be brought in later. The bathroom ceiling leaked. Despite free wifi claim, no Internet was available anywhere in the hotel. We booked a Christmas meal starting at 8. It was in a very cold room. Even with coats and gloves, it was freezing. No food was available until 10 pm. When it arrived, it was cold. People in reception were helpful but the breakfast staff were very inefficient. Took half an hour to give our order. My son received his food after 45 minutes, my husband after an hour. When mine did not arrive after an hour, I left the restaurant, leaving the rest of my family to pay theirs. Overall, it was not a good place to stay but the location next to Prizmas and the natural beauty of the place were outstanding. I hope they get their act together soon. Such a fantastic place, such poor organisation.

Excelente hotel, sus instalaciones son hermosas, el cuarto es muy cómodo y fresco, lo único que mejoraría sería el servicio de recepción ya que cuando llegamos había dos personas en recepción, uno de ellos que fue el caballero fue descortés y un poco déspota, a la hora de llegar.

Me encantó casi todo... La verdad es que es buen lugar para relajarse y descubrir cada rincón y valla que son varios... Lo que no gusto fue que las albercas se veían descuidadas y aún que no hay televisión por lo menos deberían dejar el wifi.

Excelente lugar con mucha historia, áreas verdes albercas, servicio de hotel lo que no me agrado el servicio de restaurante a mí gusto caro sin muchas opciones servicio bastante lento, no hay sitios cercanos para comer, por lo demás buen lugar

Un lugar muy tranquilo., sin internet ni televisión para desconectarse, todo muy limpio y los empleados del lugar muy amables ., a excepción de la recepción. Lo que no me gustó es que al parecer Expedia no tiene convenio con el hotel ., por qué en repetidas ocasiones nos recalcaron :que teníamos un paquete europeo., el cual no incluye nada jajajaja. La verdad nunca se tomaron la molestia en explicar de que se trataba y si estábamos interesados en adquirir. . . Por cierto deberían climatizar las albercas. El agua está congelada .
