"Excellent location"

"Fabulous stay at the Crown and the dinner in the restaurant was great. Staff very helpful and great bedroom with a very comfy bed !! My only disappointment was the breakfast choice which was pretty poor. If you are vegetarian there is limited choice with no option to order anything else off a menu. Limited fruit, cheeses and no salad available. Very disappointed and didn’t eat here on our last morning. I would visit again as everything else was great !"

Basic without coffee maker and no Kleenex tissues Plenty of towels but no wash cloths they do have a washer and dryer though costs 5 pounds I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with much luggage! No clothes closet only a small peg to hang things on We would not choose to stay here again"

"Lovely stay"

"We had booked two overnight stays at the start and end of a cruise. While on bith occasions we arrived at the hotel well ahead of normal check-in time, we only had to wait a short time until our room was available. This was very good as it was tiring after a long journey. The hotel is convenient for cruising from Southampton as it is only a short distance to the ferry terminal, but the hotel provided a complimentary transfer on the embarkation day. However, it at £229 for an overnight stay it is not cheap with breakfast additional. WE didn't have dinner at the hotel, so can't comment, but did have drinks in the bar on our second stay. Not cheap there either, but staff helpful and friendly."
