In serious need of a refurbishment
Though clean the rooms are very tired and shabby. We stayed for 4 nights and the towels were not changed once. Pillows are next to useless. Hotel reception staff are not rude but they are ignorant!! They will quite happily keep to waiting while they chat between themselves, without even acknowledging you are there.. they didn’t even respond to good morning as we walked past them on a morning, instead they just choose to ignore you.

Hotel Trovador in February.
The hotel Trovador is a fairly basic three star hotel, breakfasts are adequate and it is good value for money. The location is excellent, within easy , level, walking, into the main part of town in a few minutes. We would not hesitate to book again for next year. If you hire a car, parking is a problem, but it is no worse than the other hotels in the area. Plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. If you go in a colder week beware as there seems to be no heating in the bedrooms, but this is not normally needed. It is ideally located for Carnival events. Wifi was only available in two locations of the hotel, not in the bedrooms.

Comfortable stay
We had a warm welcome at reception where the staff were always friendly and polite. Our room was on the 4th floor and the balcony had a view over the town and sea view. The room was clean and fairly comfortable although a little dated. Breakfasts were good with a choice of hot and cold food. Although there is no parking as such on site the seafront car park is large and parked up fairly easily, This was about 5 to 10 minute flatish walk. It is convieniently locatted for restaurants - being out of the main hussle but only a couple of minutes from bars and tavernas

Good base close to beach and town
Excellent location close to all amenities. Roof terrace and pool very useful although the pool is not heated so was quite chilly. Very clean and all staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great very plentiful and good choice available. Obviously going through a re-fit and some modernisation but still very hi good value for a 3 star hotel

I paid single supplement and had a twin. Beds were very narrow. Sheets were not fitted and so went awol during the night. It was very cold at night and I used the extra blankets. Although the room was clean, I did wonder if the blanket and bedspread were ever cleaned. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was adequate. The hotel was full of Germans and all signage was in German excludively. The location is t min walk from the town centre so convenient. The bar shut at 10pm every day and I never saw anyone use it. Sterile, lacking in atmosphere but convenient and useful.

Comfortable hotel in good position.
Comfortable hotel in good position close to the town center with its many bars and restaurants. Comfortable room with balcony and pleasent sea view. Good buffet breakfast and evening meal available on request.

Friendly central budget hotel.
This is a very friendly old hotel in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz. It's particularly well located if you're planning to make a lot of day trips and won't be hiring a car, because it's only about a five minute walk from the bus station. It's a similar distance from the seafront. There are lots of restaurants and bars very close by. I found all the staff very friendly, and when I had a problem with a power socket in my room that was hanging off the wall and a little dangerous they took it seriously and sorted it out quickly. The breakfast buffet is a little bit random - things like Brussels sprouts and garlic bread made appearances - but plentiful and decent quality. My room was clean but dated. I would happily stay here again.

Disappointing
I have arrived on Sunday and was received by the receptionist promptly. The wi-fi is free but it is only available at the reception, you can't access from your room. Every time you need to enter room you have to attempt inserting the card at least a couple of times in order to open the door. I think the locker is quite old and it doesn't work properly. I was abruptly woken up in the middle of the night in three different nights by a man screaming extremely loudly. I woke up terrified, I think the man was drunk. I found cockroaches once in the bathroom and another time in the corridor, entering into the neighbour's room. Sometimes I could feel a strange smell coming out of the bathroom, something like sewage. The odd thing is, the hotel is very clean, the maids clean very frequently. The food offered for breakfast and dinner is very bland, has no taste at all and the menu is very very limited. The hotel itself is simple, the swimming pool in the terrace is small but it is nice, you have a great outlook of the city from there. Even though it is well located, I would not recommend this hotel, unless you don't mind the above.

Ideal, wenn man zu Fuß in Puerto de la Cruz unterwegs sein möchte. Nicht geeignet, wenn man den Urlaub hauptsächlich im Hotel verbringen möchte.

Nefasto, habitación anticuada y descuidada... la ventana de acceso a la terraza no cerraba y quedaba 3 dedos abierta por estar descuadrada, desayuno malo, estaba en la 5a planta y encima hay un sky bar con música a todo trapo hasta la madrugada que unido a que no cerraba la ventana impide descansar... lo dicho nunca más y no lo recomiendo para nada... un 0

da migliorare
Buona posizione vicino al centro e non lontano da Playa Jardin. Bella terrazza con piscina/solarium e bar per la sera che pero' non abbiamo potuto usare visto che abbiamo avuto una brutta settimana di freddo e pioggia.Niente aria condizionata ne' riscaldamento. E' stato molto faticoso il freddo in camera un po' risolto da una piccola stufa data su nostra richiesta e su cauzione.Colazione con dolce e salato ma di medio basso livello.Cassaforte a 2 euro al giorno e niente frigo.Brave e gentili le signore delle pulizie.Tutto un po' vecchiotto ma pulito. Materassi a molla scomodi e biancheria decisamente da rinnovare.Nell'insieme accettabile..ma un po' triste.Buone la pulizia e la posizione.

Mala experiencia en el Trovador
No funcionaba nada. Ni enchufes, ni TV...mal estado en general. La propiedad no invierte en el hotel, solo en una terraza chill out. No lo aconsejo para estancias.

Necesita una reforma en las habitaciones
Volví a este hotel después de 15 años y salvo la reforma de la planta baja y el bar en la terraza pocas cosas habían cambiado. Las habitaciones no cuentan con climatización, ni aire frío ni aire caliente. Los baños son fríos y austeros. La situación es muy buena, al lado de la estación de bus, a pocos minutos de la playa y muy cerca de la plaza del Charco. El desayuno tipo bufet un poco justo. No hay WiFi en las habitaciones, sólo en la recepción.

Albergo tre stelle ma standard da due
Camera freddissima, priva di riscaldamento ed esposta a nord. La prima notte non ho dormito dal freddo, le lenzuola sembravano bagnate, brividi tutta la notte. Lettino piccolo e scomodo, lenzuola e coperte vecchie e troppo piccole. TV micro, dal letto non si vede nulla. Le chiavi magnetiche non funzionano, resto chiusa fuori tre volte e devo chiedere il cambio della carta. Poi l'ultimo giorno si rompe serratura e la porta non si chiude più. Il WiFi non funziona in camera nè in sala colazione, solo nella hall. Non c'è un PC disponibile. Bagno con sanitari vecchi, vasca e doccia arrugginite e soprattutto lavandino intasato, l'acqua non va giù. Chiesto intervento personale albergo, dicono di sì ma non succede nulla. Colazione scarsa, poche cose di base, spesso finite, tre giorni senza yogurt, scarsa frutta, cibo di bassa qualità, si mira al rispormio. Il personale non sa una parola di inglese, Un giorno salta la pulizia della stanza, un altro portano via asciugamani senza fornirne di nuovi. C'è sky-bar sul tetto ma sporco, la mattina è pieno di bicchieri e residui di cibo dalla sera prima, non forniscono teli per i lettini, ci sono copertine ma viene la cameriera e ce le porta via.

Hotel très bien situé, proche du centre. Chambre agréable avec petite terrasse. Petit déjeuner buffet . Place de parking devant l'hôtel, par chance ! Restaurants tout proches .

Das 3Sterne Hotel Trovador kann ich nur empfehlen. Die Zimmer zum Teil etwas veraltet, aber sauber. Das ganze Personal sehr freundlich und zuvor kommend. Die Lage top. Nähe Strand, Einkaufsstrassen und Restaurant`s.

Hotel mit unübersehbaren Mängeln
Die Rezeption ist - selbst für spanische Verhältnisse - uninteressiert und wenig freundlich. Die Fassade - vor allem an den Balkons - weist schwere Baumängel auf. Faustgroße Stücke fehlen bereits. Die Plastikvorhänge weisen Schimmel auf und das Bad Rost. Die Zimmerdecke ist nach einem Wasserschaden fleckig. Die Bordüren an den Bettüberwürfen sind ein- bzw. abgerissen. Der Toilettendeckel ist zerbrochen. Der uralte Röhren-Fernseher (DIN A 4 Röhre) ist kaputt. Auf Expedia-Service - falls es so etwas überhupt gibt - warte ich vergebens. Das Frühstück passt zu all dem.

Hotellet var helt ok, men bussen som skulle plukke oss opp kl. 06.48 14. februar kom aldri noe som jeg synes var for dårlig Vi fikk skyss med en annen buss som som kjørte for Thoms Cook kom kl. 07.15 , dette burder ikke ha skjedd...... Mvh Gunnar Meltzer

die ausstattung des zimmers ist mehr als ungenügend es gibt keine bettdecke sondern nur ein bettlaken als decke und ein kleines kissen dazu und eine alte wolldecke die wahrscheinlich schon jahre alt ist der fenster schliesser ist kaputt die badewanne hat am ausfluß rost und ist defekt die ersten zwei tage gab es ein spiegelei dann nicht mehr der kaffee ist unter aller sau der aus der maschine kommt am schlimmsten fand ich das bett das erinnert mich an eine pritsche beim militär oder wahrscheinlich ein knastbett

Slitent hotell. Har startet oppdatering av resepsjonen. Ved en anledning rant det sølevann fra ventilasjon på badet. Vi hadde også en liten sti av maur over gulvet på rommet vårt, og på balkongen. Nøkkelkort måtte byttes mange ganger, og de ble IKKE oppbevart sammen med telefonen, noe vi ble spurt om hver gang vi måtte bytte kort😡Grei beliggenhet ifht. Plaza Charco.

Об отеле многое знали из отзывов. Привлекло местоположение. Мы не пожалели. До всего "рукой подать". И пляж, и центр, и автобусная станция для передвижения по острову в 5-7 минутах ходьбы. Не понравились 2 вещи: состояние мебели и сантехники (разбитая раковина, подломленная ножка кровати)и уборка грязной посуды со столов на завтраке. Столы уже освободились, а сесть некуда, везде неубрано. Остальное все хорошо.

Eins vorweg Den Zimmerkomfort würde ich nicht direkt als enttäuschend ansehen; jedoch ist mir die Bewertung OK zu schwammig. Das Hotel hat sicherlich schon bessere Tage gesehen, aber alles erschien in einem gepflegten Zustand zu sein. Die Matratze empfand ich als sehr strapaziert, erstaunlicherweise blieben mir Rückenschmerzen erspart. Sonst sollte man mal die eine oder andere Schraube festziehen. Die Einrichtung im Frühstücksraum/Speisesaal bestach durch einen gediegenen Charme. Den Pool entdeckte ich etwas zu spät. Auf dem Foto wirkte er jedoch etwas größer. Das Personal empfand ich als sehr freundlich.

Det viktigste for oss når vi reiser er beliggenhet, og dette hotellet lå perfekt til i forhold til våre ønsker. Det er kort vei både til strand og sentrum med restauranter, cafeer, butikker mm er i umiddelbar nærhet. Hotellet var noe slitent, men rent og komfortabelt og hadde alt vi trengte. Frokosten var som hotellet - ikke overdådig og lukseriøs, men hadde det nødvendigste. Pluss for fin takterrasse med havutsikt. Minus for helt elendige springfjærsenger.

Ich war 2 Wochen im Hotel Travador. Ich bin nett empfangen worden und hatte von Anfang an ein wohlfühl geühl. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und ich hatte eine große Terrasse dabei mit einer super Aussicht. Orotavatal mit Teide und Meerblick. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend.

Einfaches Hotel in sehr guter Lage.
Ich habe das Hotel für 3 Nächte inkl. Frühstück gebucht und war insgesamt auch zufrieden damit. Das Hotel genügt für einfachere Ansprüche, ist sowohl was Strandnähe als auch den Weg zum Busbahnhof betrifft eine gute Wahl. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist okay...
