"Shame it didn't have ensuite with proper shower as such and the "full breakfast" was not a full proper English breakfast, ie eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, brown toast, hashbrowns, mushrooms etc..."
"Querky property, doesn't look like a hotel/motel. Staff very good and accommodating. Ideal for matchday with the lads, wouldn't take the wife. Beds we had were not the best but understand the need for waterproof covers. These make a lot of noise when moving in bed. would stay again if stuck for accommodation. Free secure parking is a bonus."

"The municipal is a beautiful building and the interior spaces and the room we stayed in did not disappoint. All the staff were friendly and really helpful.
I would definitely recommend and will be staying there again when I visit Liverpool. "
"Did not let you check-in until dead on 3pm.
This resulted in a huge queue at reception and self service kiosks did not work.
Actually felt really sorry for the reception staff who were under a lot of pressure."
"Room was lovely and bright ,needs a bit of updating regarding flooring and some of the wallpaper . Bed was really comfy and looked clean slept well, considering it’s used for stag and Hen stay was quite . Breakfast was really nice thank you for really pork sausages and the staff really friendly ."
"Liked everything about it, although our room was over train station it was a bit startling being woken up by the loud speakers at station.other than that great . "
"Prior to checking in, the resident hotel offered an upgrade option, which I took advantage of due to the amazing price. I am so thankful for the upgrade as it gave my party of three ample space to share one room with essentially two sections and two separate beds. My family and I felt very safe as there was additional security past a certain time at night which required all patrons show their room keys and verify their names. I would stay here again on my next trip to Liverpool and I highly recommend this hotel."
