"Excellent staff, lovely hotel. Can't wait to stay again! "

"Our room was spacious and gorgeous. The bed was really comfortable and big! We were in a Premium King Room. The bathroom was large but it did also smell quite badly of damp. The only negative was the car parking. None available on site and not able to drive up to hotel so we had to bring all our luggage from a neighbouring public car park. Unfortunately the lift wasn't working at the car park so we had to carry 3 suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. Parking was 18 British pounds per day, pay and display, and we had to keep going back each day to pay for another 24 hours. Overall though, a fabulous hotel in a great location."

"The traditional English breakfast was well worth the wait for being cooked to order, probably the best cooked breakfast I've had in years! And a nice selection of buffet items as well. In October the parking wasn't an issue, but I can imagine its more problematic at busy times of year. The building is nearly 200 years old so I can forgive the creaky floorboards, but the bed we had was also very creaky which was a little annoying. Overall it was excellent value for money and I would stay again."

"Gorgeous historic building, great facilities and located right in the centre of city. The room was comfortable and clean. I highly recommend the buffet breakfast which was well stocked and great quality. Excellent value, we will definitely be returning when we're next in town!"
