Edinburgh and Lothian Luxury Holidays

The location was good and convenient. However, unfortunately, there were several things that could have been better. The breakfast provided was not good at all. It was basically just a small snack left in the room for us each day during the four days we stayed there. I would not consider this a proper breakfast. Also, the bed was very small for two people, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Overall, the location was a positive, but the breakfast and bed size were disappointing.

When we booked our room, we did so based on location and availability and were pleased at what a lovely property this was and how convenient it was to all the sights in downtown Edinburgh while not being right in the thick of traffic and congestion. We were even more astonished to find that we were staying in the Georgian suite. It was over the top beautiful and exceeded our expectations! The staff was exceptional and were so very helpful in making recommendations for our next destination following Edinburgh. Highly recommend!!

Overall we had a nice stay at the hotel. A few things to bear in mind, there was a very noisy Wetherspoons directly below our room on the third floor, ear plugs are a good idea! We had to remind the hotel to clean our room on a couple of occasions and the towels/flannels in the bathroom were stained. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is ideally placed for all the sites of edinburgh
