"Five stars all the way! This is an incredibly unique and beautiful hotel, located in a very nice shopping district on the canals. Loved the lobby especially - a really nice vibe with a coffee machine and complimentary snacks and drinks refreshed throughout the day. We loved it, including the staff encouragement to enjoy King's Day festivities. "Thought the property was beautiful. Convenient and clean. Room small- did not care for the bathroom. Very awkward layout. Walking distance to several restaurants, sites and train station. "

"Perfect place if you want quietness and to escape the hustle bustle of the heart of Amsterdam. It’s a short walk to the train/metro station. From there it’s like a15-20 min ride into city center. There’s several food options in the area otherwise there isn’t much and you really need to use public transport. But this citizenM is pretty much similar to most citizenM hotels"

"Nice hotel. Close to airport, clean, great bed and great shower. There were two negatives. First, breakfast was a cluster _ _ _ _. The buffet itself was very nice but we had to contend with hoardes of people trying to get food and then no where to sit. It was anything but pleasant . Don’t waste your money on breakfast. Second, the parking was disfunctional. It was inconvenient to drop off the luggage near the entrance (had to then circle the block to get back to the parking area). ...

The shuttle service from the airport was so convenient, especially since you can catch both the local train into the city or the Eurostar from the airport."
