"The location is unbeatable—situated on a quiet street just a short walk from Hallgrímskirkja and Rainbow Street, with a grocery store only five minutes away. While the property feels quite dated, the rooms are comfortable. My only mild annoyance was the traditional key system; the hotel requires you to leave your key at the front desk whenever you go out. "This was a meticulously clean, quiet hotel with a great location for arrival and departure days in Iceland. Its also close to the Gianta's cave and a lovely cliff walk, port and place to watch the northern lights on clear dark nights. The bed was incredibly comfortabel as well. We also enjoyed a breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Both were delicious. "
