"Fantastic hotel room and spa facilities Slight marks on a couple of walls in the hotel room and a faint iron burn stain on the carpet the only qualms we had On a whole great hotel, hot tub is amazing and the restaurant Mizumi was something else. 2nd time myself and my partner have stayed in the hotel, used the spa facilities and eaten at Mizumi restaurant Would highly recommend x"

"Astaff very friendly, very accommodating with my daughter's medication storage needs. Nice room decorated in the Victorian style, beds were clean and comfy. Dinner was delicious and well worth the price of only £25 for two courses. Beautiful setting in the fells of shap lovely for a walk with red squirrels to spot while out and about star gazing is possible with extremely low light pollution."

"Great stay, we arrived while the hotel waa experiencing a local power cut and the team on duty couldn't have been more helpful. It was all resolved quickly and we had a brilliant weekend. The spa was clean and well maintained, breakfast was well cooked and the hotel was spotless. We stayed in a loft room with a sauna, steam room and spa bath and it was gorgeous. Light and airy with lots of space, we'll definitely be back!"
