"We weren’t advised until the day before check in that access to the property was not available by car due to street works (big hole in the ground) being undertaken. The wheels on the suitcases are damaged from this. We had a ground floor room which was nice. It is missing the washing machine facility though to make it a better stay. Housekeeping advised change of towels every second day, why when you pay the same rate as a one night stay it should be customer choice (we were there for close to a week). The location was good, wasn’t too noisy. We went to breakfast once and it was a tight squeeze to accommodate everyone dining. We did value the notice for our wedding anniversary. Disappointed with the access to and from the hotel. It really did put a dampener on accessing the property. Even if we had better transport of luggage to ensure it wasn’t damaged and wheels largely impacted. Staff were very friendly."
