"Modern boutique style pet friendly hotel. Great location right by sea front and pier. Staff were good, looked busy at times with just a couple on duty but always friendly. Room was a superior double but bed seemed a lot bigger located on floor 3 at rear of hotel. Window to room opened a few inches so I could imagine in the summer it’ll get very hot!! There was a fan available in the room. Lovely touch was the tassimo coffee to make drink, plus kettle for tea coffee or hot chocolate. Other compliments were free bag of 2p for arcades, eye mask, ear plugs and shower cap. Some nice touches plus cans of water, pen and note pad. Bathroom clean, great hot shower and free toiletries so no need to pack those. We stayed room only but heard the breakfast is very good. Used the bar several times as it has a prime location to just sit and watch world go by. Hotel nicely decorated and very modern. Would definitely return as it’s has everything to offer. "

"Room and bedroom were lovely, french doors with garden outdoor view , you would not expect that from the front door of your room and the front area , bit shabby and dated, saying that bathroom very dated was clean but could do with modernization. Pool was my biggest let down, small very busy and again generally little shabby , temp was good , but I didn't stay in for long , on our visit jacuzzi was full of young lads , all friends couldn't get near it . Quite a walk to breakfast from our room/ chalet, so took car ( disabled) breakfast very basic , can't say much more, not memorable. The area is beautiful, river and scenery, cute shops , obviously expensive, train area good place to visit , enough places to eat and get coffee , we come back regularly so great place. Carpark is broken up deffo needs attention. ."

"Very nice hotel, perfectly positioned on the sea front, lovely decor and interior. All staff very helpful and approachable Claire on Reception really stood out for her helpfulness and Abbie one of the breakfast waitresses who smiled and helped whenever approached even under pressure. lovely, clean and spacious room with balcony on floor 5 , Breakfast and service was exceptional good range of choice, constantly replenished. Additional items were available to be freshky cooked for a small cost such as kippers,salmon and omelettes to name a few. really appreciated the lovely touch of easter eggs on the tables at breakfast and eggs for kids for Easter Sunday."

"All very good indeed. Comfortable and clean room, with good upkeep throughout my stay. A perfect location overlooking the town, beautiful Edwardian buildings in the Arts and Crafts style, fine views from my windows. Excellent breakfasts, served from 7.30 onwards for those wanting an early start. Staff friendly and helpful. And amazing value for money all round. "
