"The cottage was well equipped very comfortable and well looked after. Belford is convenient for sights and quiet with a supermarket and pubs in walking distance. We had to contact an intermediary on arrival as we had not been sent the email woth the keycode. This was irritating but they handled it very well for us."

"Internet was superb never dropped out and was quick. The cottege needs some TLC, skirting was dirty and needed repainting. The rug and sofa had dog hairs on but we did book a cottage that excepted dogs although we did not take ours. Bathroom had toothpaste down the wall near the sink and there was multiple flies dead around the windows. We could not find any cleaning products to clean the worktops or cottage apart from the washing up liquid by the sink. The cottage is cold and struggled to warm...

"Great location near the train station. Helpful, friendly staff. Room was small but very clean and everything worked. Room 11 had a large skylight instead of a window but didn’t seem claustrophobic to me. Continental breakfast was self-serve with plenty of good things to choose from. (Cooked breakfast was also and option but I didn’t have that). Despite being in a pub building it was quiet. The building is old but well maintained. Good value."

"This is a really lovely hotel perfectly situated near the centre of Alnwick. It has a a really relaxing atmosphere and the staff are brilliant. Wander a short distance out into the centre of Alnwick to browse round the multitude of artisan shops and stop for a drink in one of the welcoming pubs. Return for an excellent meal followed by a nightcap in the cozy bar. The only minor downside is the number of steps from the car park to reception although luggage can be dropped off at reception before parking your car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
