The communal ares were decorated well, with a different vibe for each area eg bar, breakfast area etc. The bartender was friendly, cocktails were good, and breakfast options were great. The hot chocolate was so nice, I had to have two cups. Whilst the spa is small, the hot tub was amazin (so warm and relaxing), the steam room (super hot), and the relaxation area was very calming. Leonardo Royal Hotel Birmingham

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (2814)
"I stayed in this hotel last year for a convention at icc, convenient - but the hotel has seriously gone down hill since last year. Hallways were dirty, couldn’t get a table for dinner as it was over an hour wait, and check-in was not particularly happy and didn’t go beyond other than giving me my card. Breakfast was poor standard. Not sure would stay again. "
