"Basic room, during the evening very chilly, shower door handle broken. Close to shops, mainline station "

"Breakfast was very good, with a good choice on offer. There was also hot food available and although we didn't partake, the food looked very appetising. The room was large with a number of nice touches such as coffee maker ( pods)! Good quality toiletries and the room was very clean. Staffordshire were attentive and polite. Very enjoyable stay."

"The Grand is a beautiful hotel in the heart of the city! We had a fantastic view of the church and the wheel and the room was large with lots of thoughtful details! The bar is lovely and we enjoyed the Friday evening Jazz singer. Breakfast was great and the staff were really helpful in finding options to suit my dairy intolerance. We will come again! "

"I have chosen Clayton for its location, it was right next to the train station and travelling from London as a solo parent ai wanted to be comfortable as soon as reached the city. The ammenties were all beautiful , we love modern and clean stuff, altough the carpet in our room looked badly stained and it had some long hair from probably previously client staying. I didnt say anything and two day after the hair was finally hoovered. Everything else was really good. The bed a little to high for my liking and I kind of dislike that there was no way to open window for fresh hair :( again this is somenthing that might be an issue only for me , as there is AC in the room. Overall I would visit again , altough only if discounted as at full price I belive there could be better out there for the same price."

"If parking the entrance is through the arch on the left at China town. Entrance is in the bottom right corner. You need to press the buzzer to get in. It is a very, very tight entrance. You need to go down on the left side and straighten car up almost against the bottom wall to get angle for entry! While we were getting parked a BMW driver hit the front left side of his car on the door on way in! Then he scraped the full length of his left back door and wheel arch on the huge concrete pillar. Thus leaving his white car with a broken front light/indicator casing, a big dent and a yellow back end! So be careful, very careful coming in and out. Disabled drivers also still have to pay for parking!!"
