"Great location, clean and great staff."

"I had a verrry good two-night stay at Hotel Beacon. I highly recommend it. I was immediately greeted by the bellman, Carl, who was personable and efficient. He was Johnny-on-the-spot gathering my luggage, as I went through the infamous 9 Yogic Contortions to gain release from the"extra comfort" Lyft. :D ;} All of the front desk associates I had dealings with went the extra mile. I was upgraded to a suit, with a well stocked kitchen, nice views, and a comfortable bed. [NB: There are a few kinks; e.g., there is a treacherous step UP into the bathroom. It is clear a stop gap measure was put in place to at least make the guest aware (with a motion-sensor nightlight) that is no help during the day.] The bathroom is small, but very clean and functional with some nice amenities. Overall, I was impressed with the level of comfort, functionality, and charm of the room. Finally, the doorman, Jett, is a special person who exemplifies the charms and best qualities of Hotel Beacon. "
