Airport stopover
An excellent location if heading to the airport the next day, or if going to a match obviously, but a little out of the centre, so perhaps best for those already familiar with the city. Also worth noting that it doesn't seem to have a reception as such, although the staff at the bar are happy to help with any questions.

We had a layover in Dublin and decided to stay outside of the city center to get to our early flight with little traffic. We found the hospitality and service very nice. The room is dated, but we spent very little time in the room and just enjoyed the neighborhood. Irish music on Monday at Kennedy's was a treat. Despite the dated rooms it was clean, we'd stay here again because the people were so nice and the price was modest.

Kennedy's is in a fantastic location in Lower Drumcondra, with a bus stop to the airport right outside. Staff and service went above and beyond, as I received an upgrade at check-in, and also my case was kindly carried. The pub downstairs is extensive and clearly much enjoyed locally. There's a sense that the ownership/management is trying to kindle an extensive and thriving business on several levels. The fabric of the building is old, with common spaces and bedroom carpet needing refurbishment/replacement. I got the impression that someone was looking after the cleaning very well, the bed was very well made, and there were numerous kind touches. I left by mistake with the room key, a plain white card, and will return it if needed. My own stay was expensive but I may have been able to do better if I had booked later.

Very hard to contact owners, emails did not get responded to, and number provided was not active. Room had weird night lights that you are unable to turn off. Pretty meh, and a tad expensive for what it is.

Leroy made our stay at Kennedys Pub so enjoyable. He offered great advice on what to see and happenings at the pub so we wouldn’t miss anything. All we had to do was ask and Leroy made it happen. He also makes a fantastic coffee. If ever in Dublin again we would not hesitate to stay at Kennedys.

(1) Rooms are decent standard ((2)Ear plugs provided for music nights (but slept well without them) (3) Staff were welcoming and helpful with info. (4) Savings made staying at Drumcondra (about 8 stops to O'connell St) helped pay for Dublin Bus Hop-on- Hop-off Bus Tours, Leap Card (bus fares), and visits to Kilmainham Gaol and Dublin Castle

The accommodation at Kennedy's Pub is modern, spacious and clean. It's in a good location on Drumcondra Road, easily accessible from the city centre by at least a couple of bus lines. The area around is nice with plenty of places to eat and drink and Kennedy's itself is a very nice pub. Also, within walking distance of the National Botanic Garden, well worth a visit in good weather and historic Glasnevin Cemetary next to that.

The place was perfect for a holiday stay. The manager/owner upgraded our room to the penthouse and it was perfect. The food and beer in the bar is great and the overall vibe of the place is amazing! Highly recommend

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice clean comfortable room. They provided earlplugs which was great as the traffic is very noisey outside. The pub downstairs was good fun and me and my friend had a great time

The Value Play
The pub staff is friendly, but busy in the restaurant with customers. Never did get the wifi to work. Asked for a hair dryer, but never got it. There is free parking down the street at Griffin Park, if you are lucky enough to get a space, otherwise street parking is paid and a max of 2 hours. The room was fine and as expected from the photos and rate paid. Definitely more of a value stay, but it was fine and right next to a bus stop, public park, restaurants and a grocery store.

The couple that runs the hotel part are absolutely awesome. So accommodating and helpful. Clean and comfortable. Great pub downstairs as well with good food and band.

Hotel/pub is right on a main road. It was very hot while we were in Dublin, so we had to keep the windows open to try and stay cool. That meant we heard cars all night long and both of us didn't get much sleep. Bed wasn't terribly comfortable and shower was a bit tricky. This being said, check in was a breeze, the staff were lovely, the food and drink at the pub were excellent, and they even held on to our bags for the day while we went on a bus tour.

I had a small little room with a window that looked out over the rooftop. The room was clean and affordable, and perfect for my needs. The area is fairly quiet, yet there are still plenty restaurants and conveniences nearby. And the staff were friendly and helpful. Would rent again. :)

Check in was wild because it was game day and the pub was overflowing with people. But I absolutely LOVED staying at Kennedys. All the staff were so nice, (even when I blew a fuse) and it was in a really cool part of Dublin. 10/10 would stay again.

+clean and tidy room in good condition +nice staff +Free tea, coffee, toiletries in room +Conevient and easy-to-find location between airport snd city +Good shower -tiny bathroom -noise leakage between rooms, I could hear a guy's phone conversation til the early hours, coughing through the night etc -intermittent WiFi connection in the room I was placed in -bed and pillows uncomfortable, too hard for my liking -lay in impossible, woken up at 8am by the vibrational noise of nearby pneumatic drill, hammer or similar, either from inside the building or very nearby

Great place to stay in Dublin would 100% recommend. Check in was efficient and friendly all staff were great and attentive. The room itself was spacious and clean. Great location within walking distance to the centre. Overall a great find and I will be our place to stay when in Dublin next.

Really solid price and comfortable room. The hotel is a straight bus ride from the airport so it is super easy to get to with stops going both ways right outside of your door. You check in at the bar but the people who help you check in are ridiculously nice and accommodating. I don't think you'll find a better deal for the price!
