"The Milner is a lovely hotel. Unlike many hotels in York that I’ve stayed in, the Milner was worth the price. Great room with views of the walls and the Minster, friendly staff, clean, welcoming and an excellent breakfast. Recommended. We’ll be back. "

"Everything was clean. The lady who was filling up with Breakfast items Saturday n Sunday was very good, and on Saturday morning the gentleman clearing and cleani g the tables was excellent well done. The hotel is in an ideal location. This is our returning stay."

"All staff went above and beyond. Room was ready early and we were allowed to check in when we arrived. We were given warm cookies on arrival which was a nice touch. Room was spacious, clean, and had everything you could need including tea, coffee, iron, toiletries, etc. the room had a heater and aircon and so the temp of the room was perfect for us. breakfast was amazing and again staff couldn’t be any more helpful. We will definitely be returning! "

"The location is fabulous, the staff are helpful and friendly. Excellent buffet breakfast. Rooms were a good size and you can park your car at the hotel. We will definitely stay here again. The decor is a little dated, but I wasn’t too bothered. A fantastic stay."
