Not only was the home beautiful, but it allowed for everyone to have their own space to relax and we never felt like we were on top of one another. It was close enough to the city but far out enough that it was a quiet place to relax at night!"

"Everything about our stay at Nile Lodge was above and beyond expectation! Marie welcomed us like family--and even supplied us with wonderful breakfast treats and excellent suggestions for how to spend our time in Galway. The house is absolutely gorgeous! It's historic and elegant but cozy and set within a quiet private garden, but is within an easy walk to all the main sites of Galway. And its great to have easy and safe parking right out front. I highly recommend!"

"Sean, The host was very friendly and accommodating. But the property is older than anticipated and the furniture smelled of cat urine. A deep cleaning and new furniture would improve the quality of the townhouse. The bedding was old and new pillows would be a nice addition. The location was very good and a nice walking distance to the waterfront, shopping, pubs, restaurants, casinos and cathedrals. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. "

"The host had maintenance people come in while we were staying without any sort of warning. Felt like we were getting cased to be robbed. I confirmed with the host after that it was expected, but they’re using hostex, some AI auto responder so I have no idea if that was true or not. Very uncomfortable situation. I’m sure the whole listing is on autopilot, but a human in the loop would have prevented this situation. Hope the labor cost savings are worth it!"

"The home is beautiful- lots of room and character. The back addition was perfect for meals and hanging out. The location was ideal - just a short walk to everything in Galway. We parked our cars and never used them for three days. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Overall the house was very clean…some cobwebs and dust balls made us not give a perfect score. The property manager was quick to respond and helped with our minor issues. Beautiful home!!"

"The hotel was is beautiful. The tiny touches make it feel special. We stayed in a king suite which was a luxurious space and very large with a couch and a bar space. Our room came with breakfast which was delicious. We also ate at the restaurant which is good with plenty of great beer options. The only point lost was our cable didn’t work due to the wire coming out of the wall. The staff working that night tried their best and made a quick fix, but with so much attention to detail I was surprised by the error. Would absolutely stay again. "
