"The decor is very modern and appealing. Most front desk staff members were friendly and helpful. The two security people outside the bar were aloof and standoffish. The rooms were comfortable for the most part except for the extra high tubs that were extremely difficult and dangerous to navigate. The replenishing of water bottles was appreciated."

The Saturday morning was ok although the server didn’t explain there was also a cold buffet available and to help yourself to juice and water. The Sunday morning was not so good. "Great friendly check in staff and room service staff very quick and pleasant. Initial building front door staff / hosts were patronising and rude when we sat down in the restaurant without ‘booking in’ via them. Restaurant food quality was extremely poor for the expensive prices charged. I’d seek out better quality food and service next time. Rooftop restaurant on the other hand was fantastic service, best we received all weekend especially a lovely lady with an Irish accent."

"The staff at reception were lovely, my room was very cute as I stayed in a single, it had everything I needed. Everything seemed spotless until I lifted the toilet seat and there was a pubic hair there. There were also only two tiny cartons of UHT milk. There was a beeping noise all night coming from somewhere, I can sleep through anything so this didn't actually bother me but I can imagine it would others. Other than these couple of things it was actually a lovely stay and it wouldn't put me...

"Our stay at the Mandeville was outstanding. The main reason for this was the concierge, Said. He helped me so much, especially with my wheelchair, recommendations, hailing taxis, and anticipating my needs as I am mobility challenged. He's worth the stay there! The rest of the staff was also efficient and friendly, the hotel is nicely located close to everything, and the room was very clean. I'll stay there anytime I'm in London!"
