"Great central location, very clean, smallish room. The heavy sliding bathroom doors can easily get fingers caught in them, so be careful with kids. Staff lovely, and great activities in the bar for kids. Loses a star for the breakfast, not great quality breakfast, powdered scrambled egg. Cheese and meat poor quality, would stay again, but would not bother with breakfast. "

"The first room we were allocated was not made up, so back to check in spoke to a member of staff who was pleasant and friendly about our situation. They said that we had been given the wrong room and we were given a different room The room was not even properly cleaned every thing was tired looking bed was not comfortable. Only a few stations on the tv. The next morning we went to reception but no one was there to help so we just left and left passes at the desk couldn’t face another night in that tip. We were not expecting a 5 star hotel but at the very least room should have been clean and comfortable. "

"The dean hotel is an about a 5-10 min walk towards the town. Very nice hotel and nice ambiance. Close to the buses and rail. "

"Recommended for a long weekend. Dierdre and staff are excellent. The property is close to the tourist areas to walk, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. The view is good and the grounds very nice. There's a bit of quirkiness in the hot water as you have to let it run for about 5 minutes, but the water pressure and shower were excellent and made up for the slow hot water. "

"Good hotel in a good location, if you have a car or are using public transport. Rooms spacious. We were room only and did not have breakfast as expensive for a family of four. Spa good, had to purchase a swim hat, this wasn’t a problem but others in pool not wearing a hat and staff poolside did not enforce this. "
