Rio is great for price vs. location balance. Free parking! The Masquerade Tower isn’t renovated yet like the other one, but you still get a full-length bathtub in the old rooms instead of just a shower in the new ones.

Overall, the hotel was lovely. Lots of fantastic restaurants, good variety of little gift shops. Overall the facility was very clean and looked recently updated. The rooms were a little dated and were mostly clean ( just don't use a black light on the sofa or walls.) Was within walking distance of the main strip. Price was right, rooms had a small fridge and a nice tub and bathroom along with a small safe in the room for storing personal items. Would definitely stay there again, had a good experience.

We didn't interact with any staff. I used the kiosk. The hardest thing was finding the eighth elevator to get to the room. Room was amazing. Getting the water hot was weird. But once it was hot it was fine. Just took forever. Tub was nice. We enjoyed ourselves.

This was my second time staying at the Rio and both rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and had full amenities. Good soundproofing made sleeping a breeze. You can check in by text, at kiosks or the traditional check in desk manned by helpful humans. The worst thing I encountered is that grounds are massive and better signage inside the building would help when trying to find your way around

The room and halls were clean and smoke free but my carpet was damp in areas and cabinets were damaged. Also the pools were not open even though we’re in the 80s. Appears maintenance has been deferred a lot.
