The rooms are basic. Bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good and had a wide choice of food.
Very reasonable price, excellent location, clean & tidy with excellent full English breakfast included. This is a corporate conference type venue and has a definite corporate rather than hotel feel to it - room was very small & had tiny TV set high on wall - only one power socket low down hidden behind the bed headboard made charging phones a challenge. Good size en-suite with good shower, though very small door and some black mold in corners, room was not warm.
Always find everything good from the moment of checking in to checking out. Rooms are clean and with plenty of space. The buffet style breakfast is exactly what you need. The staff are always courteous and welcoming. Its worth every penny from a mid range hotel and i always look here to book first when i return to Leeds.
Hinsley Hall is a beautiful building in a fabulous setting, & makes an excellent value base for seeing West Yorkshire. The amenities of Headingley & Leeds City Centre are easily accessible, & the Hall is an oasis of calm. Friendly reception & super breakfast add to the outstanding ambiance.
The whole experience of our stay was wonderful. The uniqueness of the building, the friendly, helpful staff and the breakfast was exemplary. Safe, free parking was a bonus with public transport on your doorstep made it perfect for exploring.
Lovely period clean & warm well maintained property with good size rooms with beautify maintained grounds.
However the room gide says breakfast 07.30-09.30 we arrived 09.15 all the cooked breakfast had gone & when my wife asked the kitchen assistant is it possible to have two cooked breakfast? he was very polite & came to asked the chef who just sat down on table next door to us with a coffee her mobile phone & talking with 3 other persons on that table
SHE POINT BLANK REFUSED
Bless that poor man who was put in the embarrassing situation to explain he was very sorry & there is plenty of cereals toast & fruit left.
Either she needs to reminded to work to the hours advertised or hotel paperwork amended.
This place is a no frills option - but it does the no frills extremely well. Comfy beds, clean rooms, stunning building, friendly helpful staff, fab breakfast, good coffee....and free parking to boot! Will definitely stay again.
Excellent hotel. Beautiful building/great service/fantastic service. I stayed there as had a running event following day. Situated in Headingly lovely place to stay. Quietest hotel Ive ever stayed in! Just a pity I didn’t have time to walk around grounds.

A really lovely building, a tad cold on a January night my only complaint
Clean, Polite Staff and Breakfast was 1st class
Note their is a Wetherspoons just over the road if you want a drink
This is a nice quiet hotel set slightly away from the main road in fantastic grounds, where the staff are helpful and attentive. Self serve breakfast is available and the food is fantastic.
Rooms are small, basic and clean. The atmosphere is very calm and pleasant and staff are wonderful. Breakfast is great - reasonable selection, plentiful and fresh. Decent tea / coffee is freely available. It’s a short walk to amenities including a couple of good pubs.

The property is actually a religious pastoral centre, this is not made clear on their listing
Charming property, a little dated and rooms were basic but comfortable. Could have done with a kettle in the room but unlimited drinks available in the kitchenette down the corridor. Also coffee machine in the front lounge 24/7.
Breakfast was well cooked and substantial.
Bus stop at top of driveway for regular buses into Leeds

Good value hotel in lovely grounds
Room was small and a bit basic but convenient for our plans and excellent value for money.
Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and very good quality.
Very friendly staff.
The previous reviews accurately describe this place. If you’re looking for something different, then this is the place.
Very beautiful building with much history - owned by the Diocese of Leeds……not unusual to see Priests/Nuns on campus.
Extremely friendly staff, fantastic breakfast, peaceful and quiet. The rooms are very basic……almost like a college dorm style room - but very clean and functional. Onsite parking is plentiful. Very hard to argue with the price. I probably will stay here again.
