Good for a night's sleep

It was fine for what we needed, a room to sleep in after a concert at Anfield and before our early morning train. We booked the lodge well aware of the neighbourhood and the condition of the property. 25 mins walk from Anfield. To be honest, it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and warm and there was a little welcome tray with biscuits. The only issue was that there were no towels and we had to request them.

Toilet seat broken, tv did not work, WiFi did not work, mouldy shower that leaked, wall’s crumbling, stain on child's bed sheet. Dust every where. Horrible place to stay!

Overall terrible experience. The room was dirty specifically the bed and bathroom. A lot of hair, stains on sheets and other debris on blankets. How does the cleaning staff not catch that while making the bed. Also bathroom wasn’t clean either. Looks like they just added toilet paper and called it good. Sink and toilet weren’t even cleaned. Towels smelled terrible, seems like they didn’t wash them with detergent. Overall terrible experience, and would not recommend to anyone else.
