"We were very pleasantly surprised on arriving at the Boutique Hotel. We were warmly greeted with a glass of Prosecco. Our suite was so much better than we had expected. In addition to the bedroom there was a room with a table for meals, a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a Sauna. "Brathay Lodge makes for a very comfortable and convenient stay in the Lake District. The room was modern and well-maintained and the staff friendly and considerate. There is a parking fee (unless booked direct) but you’d have to pay elsewhere anyway. If you have an electric car it’s a good idea to let them know in advance so you can use their reasonably-priced ProjectEV charger. The continental breakfast was fresh and varied and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay there again. "

"What a find! This beautiful hall is just perfect. Fabulous location with peacocks and lovely trails to walk in the extensive grounds. Our room had a super king bed and usual facilities. The perfect spa hideaway
"We loved every single minute of our stay here! The suite we stayed in was heavenly. Having the use of your own steam room, sauna and jacuzzi was worth every penny. The main hotel spa area was well maintained and clean too. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A combination of cooked to order and buffet. Didn't need to eat again until dinner! Would highly recommend."
