"As far as what I didn’t like there is not much that I can think of other than clothes are hard to dry in high humidity. This was not the hotels issue . The property was super clean, staff was fantastic, and it was connected by a short bridge walkway to the train system. Super easy to navigate all over Kyoto. We received a 1000 yen voucher per person in our room which we used at the steakhouse on property. By far top 5 dinners I’ve had, ever…I would highly recommend Hotel Emion Kyoto to anyone thinking of traveling to Kyoto. "

"I stayed on the 5th floor and the 4th floor was a smoking floor. I cab smell the cigarette smoke."

"Rooms are not very small when compared to the hotels we stayed in Japan. Very clean, and located from 2min walk from the Kyoto station, makes it very easy to move around. Breakfast was ok, above Everage."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the Shinkansen station and is centrally located near many popular attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The air conditioning worked perfectly — a big plus after a warm day of sightseeing! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and like everywhere in Japan, the customer service was top notch. We were also able to drop off our luggage early, and the process was smooth and easy to arrange. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!"

"I enjoyed my stay at JR WEST GROUP VIA INN PRIME KYOTOEKI HACHIJOGUCHI. It's located within a 5-minute from Kyoto Station and has a 7-Eleven which is linked to the main lobby. The main challenge is finding your way out of Kyoto Station which is huge and confusing but no fault of the hotel! :) The room was a good size (not big but comfortable) and had a writing desk which made it easy for me to do my work and have my takeout meals. At the ground floor lift lobby, there's a sort of "buffet table" of daily consumables such as toothbrushes and shavers. The staff were friendly. Checking in and out was easily done at the automated kiosks. I loved the surroundings of the hotel. The area it was located in was safe, clean and quiet. It was easy to walk to the Keihan bus terminal at Avanti Building so that I could buy tickets for and board the airport limousine bus to Kansai International Airport. I would absolutely choose to stay in this hotel again if I were visit Kyoto again."
