"Favorite Place in NYC"

"This hotel is located within easy walking distance of most downtown attractions and neighborhoods and is right next to the King St. metro stop. It's located in the financial district which is very lively during the week but a little quieter on weekends. The hotel itself was comfortable and employees were friendly. It's not geared towards families but is an option worth considering for a variety of travel purposes."

"Had to enter through the side door on 53rd Street instead of 7th avenue. This confused the cab drivers."

"Beautifully decorated room, exceptional service, very clean. It feels really safe because they have a security person who actually checking your room card and elevator isn't going up without the room card. It's my 2nd stay at the Romer and I'll definitely stay her again. Really close to the broadway area."

"The hotel is older but I really liked the style of it. The price for the location is great. Desk staff were wonderful. We had a room with one king bed and the size was good, room was comfortable and the window AC unit kept up with the 37 degree heat. Not a good hotel if you are planning to have a lot of meals in your room - no fridges/microwaves. We were only there for a few nights so this was not a problem. I will stay here again if I am back in NYC."

"My daughter and I had a great stay. Upon arrival we were greeted at the front desk by Muhammad. He was wonderful to work with. The hotel was in a great location and the room was a great escape!"

"Great location! Right next to the Empire State Bldg. Subway station right outside the front door. Staff was super friendly. Just a great stay! Helped up arrange travel to and from the airport. Only real complaint is the room was tiny, but that's just NYC. We weren't in the room long enough for it to be a problem. Would definitely stay there again."
