"This resort is absolutely wonderful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything is very clean. The A/C works great and the beds are very comfortable! Bring a water jug because they don’t use water bottles. They have filtered water dispensers all over. We had no issues with the water. Everything is quick and easy to get to, from the front desk to the beach, it’s a short walk. The pool bar is open 24 hours a day which was nice!! The food was excellent! The breakfast buffet left a little to be desired but the lunch buffet and pool snack bar made up for it. The ocean was incredibly beautiful with lots of activities. The nightly shows were great. The only “downfall” is no drinking in the pool. Their sister resort Viva Maya is a short walk down the road or beach and they have a swim up bar. I highly recommend this resort and look forward to going back next year!! (This is the first time I have ever said that about a resort in my 20 years of traveling to Playa del Carmen!!)"

"It was a beautiful hotel. Very big good thing they have a shuttle it's a lot of walking. The food is ok nothing amazing. The staff was very friendly."

"Our room was close to the beach and the pool making quick trips to the room convenient . The staff was always pleasant and easy to talk to. The entertainment staff was outstanding during the week however on the weekend things to do were hard to find. I found the continuing run of the same video a bit tedious. Although the restaurant foods were quite tasty the buffet seemed to be a repeat each meal of the same things. All in all we enjoyed our stay. We have been going to this same hotel for 20 years so we would notice how things have changed over time."
