"The apartment was very clean upon arrival, checkin was easy, (keys in a lock box). Lots to see and do everything within walking distance. The beach 5 min walk and a large grocery also 5 min away. If you have mobilty issues this place has 34 steps to walk up to get in. There was no housekeeping and no broom to sweep up all the fallen palapa grass from the roof of the apt which seems to fall daily."

"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "

Excellence Riviera Cancun - Adults Only All Inclusive

"My husband and I went for a 7 day holiday. The check-in process was very easy, we had an Excellence Club room, which has its own check-in area. There are also a few pools that are Excellence Club only pools, and a restaurant, Magna, which was amazing. The negatives: air conditioning is not amazing. They did come check it after the first night, it didn’t seem to change. They did provide a fan, which helped it be tolerable. The beach is full of seaweed (not the fault of the resort!) There were people working to clear the beach everyday. The positives: the staff was amazing, the entertainment staff went above and beyond to include everyone in activities. There are nightly shows and several activities throughout the day that are all easily found on the app. The food was the best of all the resorts I have been to in the Cancun area. Each restaurant had a different ambiance. (Only complaint with the restaurants is it takes a long time to get your meal and finish). Expect to spend at least 1.5-2 hours for dinner. Overall I would return, the non-party environment was nice (just enough activities and shows) and attentiveness of the staff was amazing!"

"Workers weren’t all that friendly and definitely not helpful when I had questions. Alberto was the only person I would give a 10/10. Hugo 1/10. Property was nice but wish I had something to go by daily for the events. I found out later updates were posted in elevator but I was on first floor so not very helpful for me. It was hard to make reservations if you didn’t make them before trip. I would go back for the value but now know what to expect."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Breathless Riviera Cancun! The resort was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and overall we had a great experience. We definitely recommend booking the xhale club, especially if premium alcohol options are important to you. It was absolutely worth the upgrade for us. The staff truly went above and beyond when I accidentally left my phone on the shuttle. They worked tirelessly to help retrieve it, and I was so grateful for how helpful and attentive they were. The overall vibe was great! We visited during the week, so the party scene was a little mid compared to what we expected 😂 but we’ve been told the weekends are definitely when things get lit. If you’re going specifically for the party atmosphere, I would recommend planning your stay over a weekend. The beach was just okay.. we went during peak seaweed season and knew what to expect but the staff did their best to make sure it was clean and nice for a stroll along the shore. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend Breathless!"

"This was my third time back at this property and fourth time at a Royalton resort. The hospitality is unmatched! We always have such a wonderful time whenever we visit this resort, especially this time because we booked a Diamond Club Hideaway room, which came with butler service and also access to both Hideaway and Diamond Club amenities. Our butlers were able to book all dinner reservations and our complimentary hydrotherapy massage for us so we did not have to worry about anything. The bartenders at the swim up bars at the Hideaway pool are all so friendly, especially Manuel who we chatted with. The staff are always maintaining the property, making sure the guests are having a good overall experience. The food at this property is also very good, my husband and loved going to Gourmet Marche for breakfast every morning. The food trucks by the pool were very convenient when we wanted to grab a quick bite for lunch and still continue enjoying our pool time. Great experience overall as always, definitely will be back!"

"Margaritaville. Beautiful property even though there is zero beach. Pools maintained and grounds wonderful and rooms are super clean. Boathouse for breakfast everyday was boring- I wish they had a different variety or at least a different resturaunt to go to for a change up. At night, the Landshark has live music but it’s alcohol only- no food after 5pm. All resorts o have been to at least offer a snack or two- they don’t give out anything. You may think it’s petty but after dinner and you’re hanging out at 10pm, it would be nice to have a munchie. I rate the hotel 4/5 because of the same ol’ breakfast day in day out and no snackies. Otherwise it was amazing!"
