"Staff was awesome. Not fake nice. Just competent, relaxed, and helpful. Breakfast was very solid. Skyr, good bread, real fuel before going out to freeze your face off. Rooms were clean, modern, efficient. Nothing excessive, just well done. There’s a small but functional gym and a sauna, which honestly hits after a long day in Icelandic wind. You do not need a commercial gym. You need somewhere to move a little and then sweat. And the real sleeper perk is Deig in the lobby. Elite bakery. It sells out for a reason. If you see something you want, commit early. Would absolutely stay there again. Perfect basecamp for cold-weather adventures."

"The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast served each morning was very good to start the day with and the location great for walking to the shopping area, restaurants and harbour. I would definitely recommend it "

"Nice hotel , clean and spacious . We had rooms on the 13th floor which I did pay extra for but it was worth it for the amazing view including the northern lights on the last night . We ate in the burger bar on one night food was good and staff are lovely. Really friendly reception staff. Location is right next to bus stop 12 so very easy for tour pick up especially at 8am when it is really cold . Beds are soft and comfortable. Overall a great city centre hotel. "

"Excellent hotel, walking distance to all main attractions and restaurants. All staff members are very friendly and polite to everyone, help us to take taxis. Also in the corner of Bus Stop 9. All busses for city bus and for tour buses stop at Bus Sop 9"
