The JW Marriott was a gem I never would’ve imagine what I experienced, the staff was second to none when it came to personal touch , they went far beyond my expectations, treated like I was a long lose cousin that they love lol ,Restaurant on the resort made it a challenge to want to venture out other places because you got that taste that you wanted to check to see if it was real , ooooh ! Yes it’s real Good Looking forward to my next visit in which I plan to stay longer for the full experience.. if you ask me I would give JW Marriott a 15 star rating and that’s not enough… Thanks for such a good time

Most of the staff was outstanding but one of the front desk staff was so rude I was shocked. Additionally, there was a wedding and they let off fireworks at 11:00 pm that sounded like bombs going off. There was no warning from the staff. Also, someone played their music on a continual loop until 5:30 am. I would not recommend this hotel

A bit pricy. Even the coffee for preparing in room was limited to 2 cups a day. We had to pay for “more than 2 a day Nespresso pods”. Location is a bit secluded so it’s a bit of drive to anywhere

Wonderfully calm and stylish place. Feels like you are on the moon, but taken care of with elegance. Facility is in fantastic shape (though I wish they would upgrade the point-of-sale terminals to a more modern tap-and-go system. The lines at the coffee shop were too long).

This stay was beautiful despite the stares of the other guests that made me feel unwelcome.......We were the only hispanics aside from the staff. But this didn't ruin my nice relaxed vacation. I love that this hotel has alot of pools including a heated one. The ambient after sunset is also beautiful with live instrumental music. Overall I'll definitely return to take advantage of the spa services as well.

Checking in was a disaster as we were taken to our room, but another guest was occupying it. We were taken to a second room, again it was occupied. We were taken to a third room that was terribly noisy because of a power generator. It appears that this hotel lacks suitable power supply resulting in frequent power outages. Our room (King size bed with ocean view) was at one time a decent room but no more. The staff was very apologetic but the failure indicates poor operations in all respects. This is not a JW Marriott owned location and it is very evident by the poor standard of care and maintenance. Do not waste your time and money here as you will be very disappointed.

The service and property was amazing. Everyone was so kind and the food was great. Would have liked to have had more dining options for at night. Also, the power went out 3 times while we were there. The first time was for about an hour and a half. Thankfully it was during the day and we were by the pool so it didn't effect us too badly but I couldn't imagine having napping kids in rooms or getting ready at night and it would go pitch black. I asked other guests about it and they stated no one would really tell them but that they were told the power sources were unreliable and the property was run off generators. Besides that, we have zero complaints of this property and would go again.

This property is without say beautiful! As I am in the hotel and event business I look at details though. So here are A few things the property can work on: the TV only had on English channel and no way to input HDMI, USB or casting to see our own things! For the price that is not normal. Also the "cheap" grill restaurant is very expensive but the setting is lovely. And the new tacos restaurant needs some work in the offering as it is overpriced for what you get, and the banging of the meat by the chef is not agreeable. The rest of the hotel is great and the staff is what made the difference, all so nice with our family and twins. Thank you for a lovely stay.

First and foremost, the facilities, service and food/restaurants are top notch. Rooms are quiet and mostly clean. Large bathroom with soaking tub. Strong ammonia odor in toilet room throughout stay. Disappointments are that we got charged for mini bar items we thought were free. Two nespresso pods per day are allowed. These were not restocked daily so we requested them and were charged. There was a strong generator exhaust odor throughout the central facility. Beach is lovely but not for swimming. Surrounding area is quite secluded.

The staff and the food were incredible. What was lacking was everything the resort advertised online like adult pools and swim up bars and access to the ocean. There were very few bookings so restaurants tried to cancel confirmed reservations, and teh Air Conditioning went completely out the last day and night I was there. It was not a relaxing vacation as I planned for because every day there was another disappointment that I had to deal with due to the construction, and lack of offers that were advertised about the property before my booking and arrival. The staff was incredible and they did what they could to make things right including comping my incedentals and the food was incredible no matter where I ate, but the property itself was a complete let down.

From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was very engaging and attentive. They made us feel like we weren't visitors but residents which attributed to our overall experience. Staff and grounds are extraordinary. Food is incredible. Leadership team however , should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. The air conditioning in all rooms doesn’t work and is programmed to show the on-screen controls on the thermostat but doesn’t actually turn on. Rooms are essentially a sauna.
