"Great location to many attractions, tours , dining and shopping . Great Gelato shop a few doors down - check in was wonderful ! Special shout out to cleaning staff, not only did they keep the property immaculate they also assisted with translation in ordering a taxi to the train station "

"This was our second stay at the same hotel after a long time. We chose it again because of its central location and being close to the central train station (about a 15 min walk). The Duomo is a few minutes away. The reception was very welcoming and let us keep our luggages as our room was being prepared because we arrived early. The room we got was spacious (family room) with an en-suite shower. The toilet was a shared one. All in all it was clean and well-maintained. The building is 500 years old and it is a very different experience overall to stay in it. The only downside I could say is the noise from the street during night time, I wasn’t able to sleep well because of it. The street seemed quiet so maybe there is a bar/pub nearby. Thanks to Leonardo and the staff who keep this place running. "

"Pretty sure this is a mom and pop shop so I'll be more generous and forgiving with my review. Overall the staff are amazing, the host who greeted me most days was charming and friendly, others are lovely too, save for one grumpy old man, but I think that's how old folks are. Rooms are clean. My room had a beautiful view. My main issues with the place are the thin walls, meh bed, flat pillow (which was kind of fixed when I asked for a second pillow) and shower temperature and pressure. Also you basically shower sitting on the toilet, which I was ok with. I couldn't get a good night's sleep and my back and neck hurts now. WiFi is a bit spotty on my phone, but fine on my laptop (I was able to stream movies) Location wise - excellent, can get to most tourist attractions within 15-20 minute walk. I can appreciate the breakfast included (there were croissants, bread, cold cuts, coffee, juice, yoghurt) since couple mornings I'd get up pretty early to visit museum first slots. If you're not a fussy sleeper then I can recommend this place."

"I loved staying here! There was plenty of room and it was a great to cook so I didn’t have to eat out every meal. I bought some great ravioli from the local market. The location was perfect to explore Florence. The bus stop was just a few steps away. Very convenient to get to the train station so I didn’t have to lug my luggage through the streets. Mirta and Francesco were great hosts and Enrico was there to greet me and show me around. I’ll stay here if I’m ever in Florence again!!!"
