"Staff was outstanding. They helped to explain some things and helped us get a taxi at 4:30 in the morning (local time). They have a staff member at the front desk 24/7. Breakfast was outstanding, compared to other European hotels that offer breakfast. The room was functional but that's about it. It was very plainly decorated - just one small picture on the wall. The bathroom had some oddities despite being newly renovated, such as no ledge in the shower to place soap or shampoo. But if you don't mind those small things, I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again."

"Air conditioning was a huge plus! Everything was a little run down, and it takes 5 keys just to get to our room. The bathroom always had a slight sewer smell, and the automatic light to go into the bathroom turned on anytime you might want to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night…not ideal if others are trying sleep in the room. Overall it worked for a budget stay in a great location in Florence"

"The staff was excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was great with lots of choices, and the room was nice and large. The pool was a great spot and rare to find in other places in this area Only con is that the check in instructions can be difficult to find/follow, and there is no staff present after 3pm so it’s all self service."
