Vacasa guest services were unhelpful, but responsive. It appears that these power outages are frequent and that Casa Xila does not have an adequate generator to accommodate power outages and surges that may happen in this area. "This was the best hotel we stayed at during this trip. The staff is incredible, the hotel is gorgeous, and the food and drinks are top notch. The free happy hour by the pool is a great touch. Visiting in the rainy season could mean some light flooding and not being able to enjoy the rooftop terrace and pool, but it was still 100% worth it."
