The modern touches made it even more special—an iPad in the kitchen let us play music and change the light colors and the beautiful projector setup made family movie nights fun. The drive in can be a bit bumpy and confusing at first, but just follow the signs. "The power/water/wifi was out for many hours each day of our stay. It was inconvenient to be without these necessities, especially considering the high temperatures of the area. Vacasa guest services were unhelpful, but responsive. It appears that these power outages are frequent and that Casa Xila does not have an adequate generator to accommodate power outages and surges that may happen in this area.
