"Very convenient location near Earl’s Court underground station. Also walkable to restaurants and shops. Clean comfortable room and friendly staff. Tea & coffee plus fresh fruit always available in lobby which is nice if you are on the go. Only negative was the lift was not working but the staff helped me with my luggage. Would stay here again. "I took my mum to London for 3 days. I live in Canada and have not been to London for a number of years. The hotel was one of the options I could get booking from Canada, and was the most expensive option of the few I shirt listed. I was so happy we picked this hotel! The staff were AMAZING. They loved asking us where we had been and always made sure we knew where we were going and knew our tube route for the day. They really made my older mum feel very special and fussed over her bag carrying etc. After staying here, I will not stay anywhere else. Really made our little girls trip a fabulous trip! "

"This hotel is great as an affordable option in a great location. The underground station is a short walk away and we always felt safe in the area. The room was clean, albeit small. We had a basement room and it was pretty quiet. The breakfast is simple but was a good inclusion. It's not a full service hotel but the staff were helpful when needed. I think it is really good value for money considering the excellent location. And yes, the shower is tiny but the water pressure was good!"
"I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely return in the future. Very close to various restaurants, bus stop and tube. Only downside to the property is that it doesn't have a lift so you'll have to carry those bags upstairs, but other than that awesome property and staff."
"Contrary to some reviews we found the Merit Kensington to be absolutely fine. I have no negative feedback at all. The rooms were clean and tea/coffee and toiletries replenished every day. All the staff were very friendly from housekeeping to reception and the breakfast room . Breakfast was excellent.The hotel is very close to Earls Courttube and it’s very easy to get around fro m there . The £100 security deposit was never actually taken from my bank,it was just pending all week and was cancelled on Friday as soon as we checked out. Would definitely recommend and stay again "
