"Was it the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at? No, but that’s not what I was expecting for the price paid for a windowless room! Friendly check-in, nice hot shower, bed for the night right in the centre. Amazing value!"

"The check-in was easy and the beds comfortable, but most of all we loved that you could choose where you sit at breakfast (which was very nice) and everything was very relaxed!!! All the staff particularly the young lady on duty at breakfast-time was friendly, helpful and efficient and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Also dog friendly - Which was why we chose Holiday Inn over Premier! "

"When I return to Liverpool, I will stay here. The staff was welcoming and answered all of my questions about locations in the area. It is close to Albert Docks The Liverpool museum and the Mersey River. It’s also right around the corner from Matthew Street where the cavern club and other bars and restaurants are located. There’s a Tesco store right around the corner as well as a Gregg’s bakery shop. Enjoy."

"Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Great food menu. Fab breakfast. Stayed here a few times, and they always remember me. Easy walk to Preston town centre. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Shame they don't take cash anymore. Not a complaint as such, but I don't like the way we are drifting into a cashless society. "
