"Locke de Santa Joana is a quirky, unique, and very enjoyable place to stay. Built in a beautifully converted monastery, the property still retains many of its original architectural features, which gives it a lot of character and makes it feel very different from a typical hotel. Our room was comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and had an excellent bed—we slept very well. We also loved how completely dark the room became at night. The layout of Building D was a little confusing at first, particularly with the negative floor numbers and the top floor being labeled “0,” which is very unfamiliar to Americans, but once we figured it out, it was fine. The food on the property was excellent. We enjoyed both the breakfast and the small outdoor café. The staff was friendly and helpful, although we did handle our own luggage. The location was also very convenient for the sightseeing we wanted to do around Lisbon. This is not a traditional luxury hotel, but it doesn’t try to be. It is stylish, comfortable, distinctive, and an excellent property for what it is. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return."

"The property is located in central Lisbon, meters away from Avenida da Liberdade and Marques de Pombal! Great location. The room was wonderful, super comfortable, the bed I would rate a 12 out of 10! Air conditioning worked perfectly ! Had a little kettle, with coffee and tea! Perfect!!! The room had everything I could possibly need! Room and bathroom were spotless! Totally recommend : Pestana City Village. The staff were friendly and attentive."
